Edmonton Eskimos Quarterback Ricky Ray gets a touchdown to take the lead against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Saturday. The Eskimos went on to win that game 19-18, and locked up a playoff spot.

Eskimo kick return sensation Tony Tompkins has earned his fourth Rogers Special Teams Player of the Week award this season after the club’s 17-13 victory over the Toronto Argonauts on Monday.

Tompkins earned the nod after taking back a first quarter punt 67 yards for a touchdown and sparking the Eskimos to a much-needed win over the East Division leading Argos.

Tompkins is making a very strong case for CFL Rookie of the Year honors after earning weekly awards in Weeks 4, 5 and 14. Tony currently leads the CFL in punt return yards (794) and returns for touchdowns.
